Texture and pattern

One of the things I love about the desert is the plants - there is so much to look at in terms of texture and pattern. The play of sunlight snd shadow makes everything look  sharp and defined.
I go for a walk and the camera gets a workout because I am stopping to look at all the different things I see along the way. I shott all these same things last year but I still need to look again.

Kaleidiscope App fun

I have a new addiction. I loaded an App on the IPad that creates kaleidscope images out of anything you point the camera at. I have been walking around with the IPad shooting everything in sight.  It is so much fun to see what different objects become in the App. I see all kinds of fun projects using these images.Here are a few of the many, many shots I took.
