Sample of black organza discharged with thiox and then overprinted with vat dye using  fern leaves. I think this direction has possiblities for a new piece of work. I like the subtle shades and overlaps of the grays.

The color purple

Today's photo is of my blooming clematis vine flower. All different shades of purple from red to blue in this flower.

Before and After

Doing a little Photoshop work to develop some new ideas. Here is the before and after photo of elephant ear leaves.

Still in light mode

I still seem to be looking at images with light. This is photo of pavement with dots of light reflected on to it. I like all the levels that are created.

Overlapping light

Light coming in from the high windows on the west send patterns across other windows and walls.

Light bright

Going through the photos from the architectural boat tour last Monday, I look again at this photo of the new Trump Tower in Chicago. It is glass and because it was rainy and dark it has a somewhat ominous appearance here. But when the light is bright is almost disappears into the sky.
