A walk at the Coachella Nature Preserve yesterday takes us through such a vairety of landscape. From a cool oasis with a pond !!! to waving field of grass and up into the rocky foothills. All in one walk. I am constantly amazed at how much variety there is in a landscape that, at first glance, seems unchanging and vast. It's all in looking closer.
