I want to start a new group of leaf studies so I was shooting some of the dried leaves that I have to be able to enlarge and look at the textures close up. This is a solarized version of the back of one of the leaves. Now to figure out how to recreate it. I might print all the textures out or maybe make a silkscreen. Something to ponder.
I have been shooting some of the beautiful textures and seerendipitous compositions that have evolved in the wonderful old building that my studio is in. The Starline Building is huge and I find wonderful little vignettes every time I take a walk around it.
Dusting the mantle today I look more closely at all the textured balls that I have displayed there. There are about 15 different balls - different colors, textures, patterns and size. I think I willt ake more photos and see what I can do with them in Photoshop!
