Early morning walk

Early in the morning the sun throws very long shadows of the grass and other plants along the sidewalk. The plants look much more impressive in their shadows!

I have been gathering ferns and flattening them to scan and make screens for new projects. I like the results on this one.

Queen Anne's Lace

A sure sign of summer is Queen Anne's lace swaying in the breeze. This altered photo captures some of that feeling.

An unexpected sight

Walking in the woods I come very close (maybe too close) to this deer. His antlers were beautfiul, soft and fuzzy and the edges glowed in the sunlight. He could have cared less that I was standing on the path watching him.
