I am mindful today of the various traditions that Larry and I bring to our marriage.These nutcrackers (and there are many more) were collected by Larry during trips to Europe in the 19603-1980s. Some of them were from East Germany before the fall of the Berlin wall. They always make me smile when I put them out because of their fanciful costumes, assorted facial hair and stark eyes. Christmas is coming!
