On this cool and rainy day in our warm and sunny desert I feel the need to put on a shirt and button up. We are leaving here in just over a week so every day of sun and warmth becomes more precious and I am busy absorbing all the beauty around me. Everyone here is anticipating a bounty of desert flowers in March which would be wonderful to see. The hills which have been beige for so long are green, there is grass growing in unexpected places. I have even seen some puddles! Amazing.
